1902 NEWPORT HOISERY MILL on South Fifth Street was built by the Newport Board of Trade in 1903 and later sold to H.A. Tomberger of Philadelphia. The plant's manager and part owner was Aaron D. Hoke who died in 1915. The Hosiery Mill was in operation until 1920.
