Philip YOHN married Jane (YOHN) b: INT 1729 (approx.) in Limerick Twp., Montgomery, PA
John (Johannes) YOHN was their son, born 1751 in Limerick. He died 1825 near Loysville, Perry County.Bernhardina was born 1759 in Germnay. She and Johannes were married about 1778 in Montgomery County, PA.
"Note: Johannes was born before 1756 and was a native of Montgomery County, Pa. His first wife was Maria Betz (b. 1755), whom he married on March 17, 1772. His second wife was Bernhardina Pieters, the only child of Warner Pieters (Peterson) and Catharina van der Sleys who had married on February 13, 1752. During the Revolutionary War, Johannes served from 1778 to 1783 as a private in Captain Philip Gibb's Company, Daniel Heister's regiment of the Philadelphia County militia.
Johannes and Bernhardina came to Perry County from Falckner Swamp Reformed congregation near Gilbertsville and New Hanover, Pa. They migrated from Montgomery County to Donally Mills and later to Loysville in Perry County where they engaged in farming. Bernhardina died December 28, 1813 and Johannes died April 29, 1825; both were buried at the Old Town Cemetery in Loysville, PA. All of their six sons and seven daughters of John and Bandena married and raised families."

They settled first at Donnally's Mills in Tuscarora Township and later in the vicintiy of Loysville. They were farmers and devout members of the Lutheran Church. Johannes served in 1778-1783 as a private in Captain Philip Gibb's Company, Daniel Heister's regiment of the Philadelphia County militia."
Johann Wilhelm YOHN (1773-abt 1842) was a farmer and lived in Newport. He died in Saville Twp. and is buried in Escol, Perry County. He married Margaret E. "Peggy" Hartman who was born in 1785. She was twelve years younger than Wilhem. They only had none children. Jacob was born 1799. "Peggy" was only 14! John was born 1804. William Yohn was born 1817. There were six daughters: Hannah, Susan, Nancy, Rebecca, Mary and Sallie. Jacob, John and William Yohn ended up in Perry County.
William YOHN (1817-1874) married Margaret Sweger (1826-1893) and they lived in Mifflin, Juniata County. Both are buried in St. John's Cemetery.
Jacob YOHN (1797-1882) was a farmer and lived in New Bloomfield. He died 1882 in Donnally Mills, Perry Co., PA at the age of 85.John YOHN (1804-?) married Mary Kochenderfer and they lived in Sandy Hill, Perry Co.
Richard C. Yohn (1858-1934) could have been the son of William, Jacob or John. He and his wife, Emma, are buried in St. John's Cemetry
