66-68 S 3rd Street-The house was built in the late 1880s. This very modest plank and batten frame house was a shelter for many railroad workers and blue collar families for the better part of half a century. The corner of 3rd and Mulberry has remained in Brian's family all this time. After years of neglect the idea of demolition was considered. However looking at it from a 'dollar and cents' point of view it was more feasible to correct the mistakes of the past and preserve it for future use.
