Reisinger Building - A furniture store owned by the Lesh family for decades, this building once was a music and appliance store, after it had served as a grocery store to two different owners. Harry Koch built the Reisinger building in the late 1800’s. This included two stores. Magee drug store resided in one half. The other part, which is today the Brenneman's Body Shop, was the Towne Tavern, a butcher shop with a millinery store upstairs. Previous owners were the Isenburgs, two generations of the Lesh family, and today Lori and John McNaughton. In 1947 it became Reisinger Furniture; in 1972 the Market Street building was purchase for expansion. Reisinger Furniture was a complete home decorating center. There you could find every thing from floor to ceiling to provide a classic traditional and country décor. In 2001, the McNaughtons changed their business to “Carpetbagger Collectibles”. There you will find various venders selling the wares. The McNaughtons have continued to retail paint and carpet in addition to hand-painted furniture.
